This is intolerable and this thread makes it sound like a small user problem. rDNS consisting of IP addresses are also not acceptable, as they do not correctly establish the relationship between domain and IP address. AOL is blocking NetSol mail and the individual recipient can't do anything about it, AFAIK. This has only happened in the past week for me and a couple of the error messages took two days to come back to me as unsent. So wouldn't they be sending out from AOL email server not their own in house email server, which would make blacklisting moot unless AOLs email server were blacklisted.
Is anyone experiencing this and if so, do you think it is Apple or aol? There were 3 emails involved: One this morning which returned with the same failuere code A second email sent requesting if the first was received, it wasnt but the 2nd was.
Just because an IP is listed on some blacklists, doesn't mean that the emails will be blocked for that reason. If anything I would call AOL and tell them about the email issue. Check the “FROM” and “RECIPIENT” addresses and make sure that they are correct. Also, I enabled to keep the messages on the original accounts so they'll at least get received that way.
