okay i'll try this, by the way, i forgot to mention my problem is mostly referring to using the apple tv as remote speakers in itunes, it seems that airplay is Click OK in the "Add a Program" window. 9. On the Apple discussion group, I followed suggestions somewhat similar to these and got nowhere. Our home PC was upgraded to iTunes 10. so this is either down to 'reconnecting' to the network? (switching ot ethernet, turning wi fi off) or it is an actual hardware/wifi issue in the laptop? Choose Settings > AirPlay Make sure that your iOS device has Wi-Fi turned on.

Launch the Airport Admin Utility...it should detect the Airport Express in the "Base Station Chooser" within a minute or so and the light on the AX should turn green.
sometimes error window doesn't appear and iTunes app plays through internal speakers normally, although it displays that it plays through the remote speaker. P.S. It can no longer do Home Sharing with the other computer.
