Also, I am trying to extend my Express using an ethernet connection. It shows up under other wifi Devices, and Airport Utility sorta recognizes it, sometimes, and when I run the setup wizard, it works partways, then it tells me "an unexpected error Check the firewall settings. check my blog Thanks for your help.
So I went to the Apple Store today and tried to show them how it wasnt working. Apple Airport Express Unexpected Error Haven't had the time to try the older one yet. I can get the AP Ex to create its own network and function just fine.
